I have pointed out before how on the subject of toilet papers the wiki article talked as if using water does not exist as option. Yesterday I saw on tv someone doing not only that level of clear denial but also adds to it an astonishing misrepresentation to others that makes you wonder what kind of a person accept sinking that low. It was in a program on Story Tv about the historical development of bathrooms and their plumbing. When the issue came to toilet papers a woman also talked about how earlier people where using other things including magazines or newspapers they read then applied for wiping in the bathroom. Then within the same context of expressing, as if water does not exist as a solution, how people before the making of toilet papers were so much in need for things to wipe themselves she said that in the middle east they use their left hands to do that and that is why you do not see lefties there. No body there or in any part of the world use the hand for dry wiping there, but they use it as part of the washing with water.
I also once saw in that Family Guy cartoon show a joking reference to the absence of toilet papers during the time of establishing the constitution. But the fact is that you do not just go back centuries but thousands of years and it would still be the people there who can joke about the people here for choosing toilet papers over water.
And by the way, there are lefties in the middle east.
