I have spent the last two hours trying to know how to get rid off that tool bar at the bottom of the iphone and still cannot do it. I found THIS from the company itself. Reading this, I kept scratching my head where is that big and small "A" symbol? It turned out that I had to first write something in the search field and click on searching it in order to have that symbol appear so that I can click it and choose the option of hiding the toolbar. This is not the first time where it seemed that their instructions do not sufficiently go back to the root that can lead to all possibilities. Still, what I needed was not solved with that. For example if I go to bing and click on an image then choose to view that image (I have set safari to always choose the desktop version) then the image would also be shown on a page having that toolbar. Following the process above in order to get rid off that toolbar also takes away the capability to go back to that image, and that is because the back button is part of that toolbar.
Go to the internet and look at how common is such need from other people while the company does not seem to be caring that much.
