Some kind of trading stocks may make you designated as a "pattern day trader" and that leads to having some special conditions imposed on your account. I already had some knowledge about the related rule but I still wanted to get more information. So I went to the FIRNA website and after searching for the words "day trader" (without the quotes) I found This. As you see, it says that the action that can lead to have that designation applied on you is if you "buy and sell (or sell and buy)" the same stock at the same day. That seems clear enough and ready to be followed rule from FIRNA website itself,  right? I could have seen it as such had I not already knew that it is not the same for selling and buying a stock as it is for buying and selling a stock. Initially I thought that the rule could have changed. Following the links provided in the article did not help me but doing a search at the SEC site confirmed my understanding. So I came back and wanted to find that support from the FIRNA site and did a search for "day trade" (without the quotes) and found This. Read the "exception" mentioned in the "What is a day trade?" (internal quotes omitted) paragraph. It clearly excludes selling then buying the same stock in the same day if the stock was held overnight. So unless it is for some corrupt reason, who in good faith would write the information in that earlier article and miss pointing out this? One may wonder about doing such a thing even if this missing information is considered an exception but why would buying the stock any other day be the exception to buying the stock on the same trading day, instead of things being the other way around?

What could that corrupt reason be? My guess is that it is for the same reason this whole "pattern day trader" designation was created to begin with. I think that without this rule, day traders may make the work of hedge funds and other big financial institutions on stocks to accumulate them from the hands of individual holders, significantly more difficult. 
I missed this, but actually it seems that with the "exception" mentioned in the second article everything would be covered with the buying then selling order without any need to mention the other way around unless the reference is to short selling and that may make things even more suspicious for being expressed that way. 

Note: The designation could be about the same shares not just the same stock as I described it here.

Just read news about death of a prison inmate after being infected with this corona virus. Had this virus been here earlier, you could have read the same about Epstein.

The reactions being taken to this virus situation here are as clearly abnormal as those of  phobias.

Again, I am not arguing against having a strong reaction to whichever government from its labs novel viruses escape to the world outside and causes such deaths and how the next time we could be in even much worse situation, but against affecting the self with this reaction.

+277: Gun Right And This Virus Situation

One good thing for arguing against having a right to keep and bear Arms when it no longer officially considered obligated by the constitution, is to question the wisdom of giving that right, despite how one is completely dependent on others good use of it and the sever consequences if things go otherwise, in comparison with all those business closing and stay at home advises or requirement for this virus situation despite how one has much more power in his hands on protecting himself and the much less sever potential if things go wrong.      

858: This Abnormal Behaviour

First let me say that nobody like having a new virus introduced to the world every now and then like this escaping from the labs of biological weapons of some country's government. Nevertheless, if what is going on here is not a reaction to that and just for protection from the virus then I see it as very abnormal. The advice to close none essential businesses and stay home sounds like very unreasonable protection. It is a virus, not someone attacking with bombs and machine guns. Why take such extreme measures to protect yourself from an infection? Of course some additional protection measures for the elderly may make sense but generally avoiding things like unnecessary close interactions with people sounds good enough. There seems to be more things in one's hands to protect himself from this outside than those in driving a vehicle. That is in addition to the difference in severity of a car accident compared to this in general.

I think that those unreasonable limitations are being motivated by internally seeking to establish/protect an identity. I also think that the opposite of those measures  and ignoring the issue in order to develop immunity could also be originating the same way internally. These kinds of extremes seems to be not hard to  notice in western societies and especially here. I remember how in 97 I felt something strange when I was working in an assembly line and one of the workers asked me if we generally ride camels for travel where I came from. He sounded like honestly trying to make sure of some fact so I assured him of that being incorrect. But then another worker jumped in to further correct that first guy claiming similarity between here and there to some level of sharing likeness for Rock Music, that I have never seen there. It was easy to notice how those two opposite positions can share identity issue inside.

856: Only Lawyers

According to This video and others sharing this same notion, Justice Scalia apparently discovered an entirely new field of thinking the existence of which never occurred to the mind of anyone else: The field of thinking that only lawyers can handle. Because, in our world everybody else is capable of thinking only in that generalized form describe in the video. And apparently because of Originalism this is still the same world where you have to interpret the words of the constitution as limited in meaning to how those words were applied during that time. 

Had I not known who is the speaker here, I would have thought that saying such a thing can only come from somebody very far from any thinking field.    

855: Making Things Worse?

I have seen behaviour with much better excuse than this virus thing, as supporting the identity establishment thing to which I keep referring. While I do not want to discuss that here, because of that view I still want to question the physical health wisdom of what is going on now. First, how sure the policy makers and their medical advisers that staying home is the best way against the spread of this virus? Unless you are talking about kids and how they may not restrain themselves from invading the personal space of each other, how often do infections come from strangers outside? On the other hand, it seems that the most occurrences for transfer of infections happen within the family and transfer from one family to another through shared members. If so, then doesn't that suggest that when people are encouraged to stay home we are empowering that potential?

The other thing I want to talk about is the amount of "disinfecting" that seems to be going on. In some cases the moist environment of that "disinfecting" process could be itself a medium for transferring microbes.

No toilet paper? That is bad news only if there is no water. If babies can talk, the first thing one may imagine them saying about toilet paper use: So you can use water, but you prefer wiping? Are you serious?  
I see no reason explaining such preference for use of toilet paper instead of water here except that it is seen as an identity thing. Although I do not feel like I need more support to what I just said, this view is strengthened even more with  giving toilet papers such priority to be hoarded at this time.

+3: My View For How Stock Markets Work

Because of how much I do not like situations of common knowledge that is treated like non existent thing, like this, I have always thought about reiterating a view of mine regarding how stock markets here work, which you may not hear somewhere else. So today, I thought why not do this at this time for whoever wants to make use of it (after submitting it to his judgment of course) because of what is going on with the markets.

Lets start first with this question: Ever wondered why there seems to be such reactions to bad news in stock markets but not even close elsewhere? How much of that can be really explained with the available liquidity aspect alone? You may hear that the market went down because of how investors reacted to this or that news. However, the view for which I continue to find support, first in the small or micro cap stocks and now with the big ones after I just started there, suggests more the role of some of those with sufficiently big financial  power in pushing for the selloff. Actually, despite being very new to the world of big caps, it also seems like being no different from that of the small ones in that there are such guys on both ends of buying and selling stocks, competing and cooperating with each other across those ends through how they affect regular guys in the middle, accumulating and preparing for future accumulation of the stock at better prices.

By the way, why does it seem that such viruses always originate in China? If you think about so many people living below the level that can protect them from spreading  diseases then India also fits that description but we do not hear about new viruses originating there. Sounds like somebody doing extensive work on biological weapons. Hey, government of China, can't you be more careful with your development of mass murdering weapons? You do not hear bad things associated with the development of such kind of weapons here. Okay, just Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but that does not count because it was intentional and I heard that since then the guys here became good guys and do not initiate nuclear attacks extended to civilians like that anymore.     

850: Example For Correct Following To The Constitution

If the constitution were having this statement:

"Injured soldiers shall continue to receive their salaries for life" and if after consulting the dictionaries sufficiently enough one does not find one of the meanings listed there for the word "injury" limiting it to only big injuries, then that statement  would be applicable on an injury even as small as a paper cut, despite how that sounds unreasonable.

Nevertheless, I can see opposing this as an interpretation way for the constitution. But the position that appears completely contradictory to me is calling something as conflicting with that as Originalism, following the text. It makes me speechless seeing claims of that kind let go without the scrutiny they deserve.

255: Bugged Car?

If spying on my computers and tracking everything I do over the internet is not enough, I have a high probability that after I began to carry my cell phone separated from its battery to avoid being tracked through it (I did that with my earlier cell phone. The new one I generally do not carry with me), this corruption guy bugged my car with a tracking device. Furthermore, I think that this tracking device was most probably installed into my car when I took it to a dealer in response to a recall issued by the manufacturer. I think that it is highly probable that I have been tracked everywhere I go for years through this device.

848: This Argument for Implicit Constitutional Rights

To answer the argument in This article, the petitioners  in the New York gun case can simply say (Of course I am here assuming that the Second Amendment still obligates a right to keep and bear Arms) that they are not arguing violation to the Second Amendment on the ground that they need to be free from those city prohibitions in order to have their rights to keep and bear arms but instead on the ground that the city prevents them from keeping and bearing arms while implementing those prohibitions, and that is far from being  equivalent to the situation with the education case  that was brought for comparison. 

As for the part the writer quoted from that gun case, that could be just to argue for having the standing to bring the case.

I may need to read better argument for what is called implied or unenumerated constitutional rights which this article brought more closely to my attention. But I would be very surprised if I would find a valid point for it and not refuse the extension  it seems to add on its own to the text of the constitution as strongly as  I refuse the restriction Originalism makes on its own to the text of the constitution. 

847: Made By America Or Made America?

In this VIDEO , by including undemocratic systems in the comparison Justice Scalia seems to suggest that the constitution is the reason not only for the type of implementation of democracy here but also for preserving democracy here in general. However, he himself described the rights given to people in those systems as being just words on papers and I want here to emphasize this same part against the suggestion mentioned above. Unless they contain some magic spell, no words can preserve democracy if the people do not choose to do that. So the answer to what make this country have its democracy, which also must happen for democracy here to be implemented the way it is, is simply the people here. The people here made the difference. The difference did not make them. I do not think that it is a good trade-off to exchange this credit with tagging the self with an external thing for the sake of direct access to the external side of the identity coin. The constitution just provided a starting point. People get the credit for really preserving democracy just like they get the blame for not really following the Second Amendment.

Later, after watching this video, I myself commented on another video, saying that if the founders were not as pioneers in democratic systems it could have been as much probable for them to choose a parliamentary system. But then I questioned my use of the pioneer description there. Clearly there have been more wants for democracy in the world than implementation for it. Therefore, despite the effort put in the constitution to protect democracy, the people who kept that system seems to be as deserving or more to be called pioneers.            

846: The Best Theory For Interpreting The Constitution

What is the best theory for interpreting the constitution? It is  not to use a theory while interpreting the constitution but instead try to really follow the text.

Originalism would have made sense if we were talking about some internal document we found. That is not even in the same galaxy as a document intended for the outside like a constitution of a nation. 

By the way, sometimes words are sent with attachments but received without those attachments even within one's own  thinking. That why, because of the same reason above, the word "text" here may mislead without careful attention to its attachments. (Actually, for me, it brings to my mind the thought about how many bytes are needed to store something written, in a computer storage, not the value of what is written). The constitution is not some document we found in a desert and we do not know how and why it was made. So in the context of interpreting the constitution, one needs to be careful not to miss all the attachments that come with the word "text", like the attention, effort, and selection of special people that was put into making that text and also, as mentioned above, the intention of directing that text to the outside.

844: Originalism

It is unbelievable that such a view to taking the constitution can be adopted by judges at the highest court in the nation. But again let me add it to my long list of astonishment by the effect of that identity establishment motivation to which I keep referring. Otherwise, the answer to this theory is very simple. The result of applying a word is not the same as the meaning of that word. It is an end meaning not a general (environment independent) meaning. The interpretation should begin from the general meanings of the word used not the end meaning of how that word was applicable at that time. That is because the path that was taken to reach the end application is part of what was said. Doing otherwise is not even close to fit being called following the text.      

843: Long Live White Flour

One day I noticed that after having pasta for dinner I do not feel depleted of energy several hours later into the morning. So I started to focus on eating pasta for dinner. Then I replaced the bread I eat in the morning beside the eggs with  pasta and eggs. That all was probably okay until I started to mix pasta flour directly with eggs for breakfast. Then I started to make my bread with high percentage of pasta flour. Couple of weeks or less within this diet change and things started to feel going negatively health wise. I do not feel as hungry but I also cannot do things like before. I do not feel the energy of the food. Before, I used to have a very noticeable increase in the weight that I can lift with a little increase in body weight. On the other hand, while in that arrangement I had my body weight increasing outside my fluctuating range to a level I have never seen for a long time while my weight lifting capability was decreasing. It was as if that process of getting energy from food, we take for granted, has severely diminished inside my body. Did not take me very long to go back to my usual diet and appreciate the energy I get after eating there. Tried making a half and half white and whole wheat flour but did not feel good enough for me which may be because I was still affected by that earlier diet but I still did not try it again, at least not yet.

I know that what I did with the pasta flour was crazy and durum flour cannot be consumed like that. But what I went through still made me wonder about all the criticism of related modernization. We always hear about how whole flour is good because of its fiber. But fiber seems to be a double edge sword and we may not think about how it could have negatively affected the amount of  energy people at old times were able to get from their food. 

Maybe it is the kind of fiber and or that I would not have gone through that trouble if things were made by the professionals in the field not my self. But I still feel suspicious about what we could be in without this modernization, enough to shout Long Live White Flour!
